As the Bon Secours health system continues to grow in the Metro-Richmond area, the new St. Francis Watkins Centre, located in western Midlothian, is a welcome addition to this quickly growing area. Whiting-Turner was responsible for erecting the new 100,000-square-foot medical facility, while Louis Smith Construction focused their expertise in ADA compliance to make this facility as easily accessible for patrons as possible. Not only was site concrete work performed adjacent to the new medical center, but improvements to the traffic infrastructure were also required to meet the demands of this new facility as well accommodate future growth at the new complex.
